Christ House is blessed to have regular kitchen volunteer groups from numerous D.C. area churches, high schools, colleges, and business associations. These groups commit to providing and/or serving a meal on a monthly basis. In doing so, they become an on-going presence with the Christ House community. While some groups are able to make a short-term commitment, others have been serving meals at Christ House for over twenty years! Still others volunteer on an unscheduled basis as needs arise.
Christ House also periodically needs groups of 4-5 people to come in and help with special projects (cleaning, etc.) for 1 or 2 days. These groups come from churches, universities, or other organizations from the D.C. area and around the country. Please contact the Director of Volunteers for more information.
